A Lifetime of Commercial Fishing

In this episode of Mug Up with BBNC, we sit down with shareholder Clemens “Clem” Grunert, a lifelong commercial fisherman from Chignik Lagoon. “When Dad bought his first boat, me and all my brothers were all fishing together, and I had just gotten married. Made our first haul and filled the boat up, and came down and getting ready to deliver to the tender. And I went ashore and picked up Mary, and brought her out so she could look at the boat full of fish. That was exciting. That was kind of a lucky, lucky stroke, I guess.”
