Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC), in partnership with Bristol Bay Mission Lodge, is hosting a week-long culinary training from  March 25-29, 2024, in Anchorage, Alaska to help participants prepare for jobs in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Participants will learn the following culinary skills:

  • Sanitation and kitchen safety
  • Knife basics
  • Cooking techniques
  • Food presentation
  • Teamwork and communication skills

Minimum eligibility requirements for training opportunity include:

  • BBNC shareholder, spouse, or descendant
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Able to pass a drug test
