BBNC Statement on Passing of Eugene “Buzzy” Peltola Jr.

ANCHORAGE, AK – Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) President and CEO Jason Metrokin released the following statement today regarding the passing of Eugene “Buzzy” Peltola Jr.

“The BBNC Board of Directors and leadership are saddened by Eugene “Buzzy” Peltola Jr.’s tragic passing. We extend our deepest condolences to Congresswoman Mary Peltola, their children, and their families.

Eugene was a devoted husband and father, a treasured friend, and a passionate servant both in his years of federal service and local leadership.

Our prayers and sympathies are with Congresswoman Peltola and their family during this heartbreaking time.”
