Applications are being accepted for the 2024 Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program (ANSEP) Bristol Bay Middle School Academy!

The free week-long camp will take place from Wednesday, May 22 – Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA).

Students will:

  • Build a computer
  • Learn more about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)
  • Work on engineering and science projects with STEM professionals
  • Learn how math and science are used in real-world careers
  • Experience living on a college campus

Students who should apply are:

  • Enrolled in a partnering Bristol Bay region school district
  • Currently in 6th-8th grade
  • Excited to learn more about STEM
  • Have an interest in going to college
  • Average a “B” or higher in math and science (preferred)
  • On track or can get on track to complete Algebra 1 by 8th grade (preferred)
