The Bristol Bay Foundation, in partnership with the Bristol Bay Borough School District and Naknek Village Council, is hosting a community-based Culture Camp!
Youth Camp: August 7-11, 2023 (9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
Community Camp: August 7-11, 2023 (12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
Location: Dolly’s Hall
Required Qualifications:
- Resides in Naknek, South Naknek, or King Salmon
- Youth Camp: currently in grades 6-12 (2023 graduates okay)
- Community Camp: all ages
Participants Will:
- Increase their knowledge and skill sets around their culture
- Have a stronger sense of cultural identity
- Gain a deeper understanding of the local and regional cultures of Bristol Bay
