“STS Systems Support (SSS) secured a $22 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract at Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah,” said Steve Doneghy, Vice President and General Manager. SSS is providing Industrial Equipment Capitol Investment Improvements for the Aerospace Maintenance Depot complex. Based on the size of projects that are forecast, SSS anticipates there will be additional contracts to satisfy projects that exceed the contract ceiling.
The Ogden Air Logistics Complex provides logistics, support, maintenance and distribution for the nation’s premier fighter aircraft such as the F-35 Lightning II, F-22 Raptor, F-16 Fighting Falcon and A-10 Thunderbolt. In addition, it maintains the C-130 Hercules, T-38 Talon and other weapon systems, as well as the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
The complex is one of the leading providers of software, pneudraulics, secondary power systems, composites and ICBM rocket motors for the Department of Defense (DoD). The complex is also the Air Force’s Landing Gear Center for Industrial and Technical Expertise, handling all Air Force landing gear and a majority of other DoD landing gear. Personnel in remote locations perform aircraft, missile and electronics maintenance, regeneration and storage at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona.
SSS’s first task is providing “Engineering Services Support” with on base Program Managers, Draftsmen, Special Tooling Engineers and Technicians, Hardware/Software Engineers, Management Analysts, Industrial Engineers, and various Skill Trade employees.
Task order number two is for a new turnkey “Chemical Cleaning Facility System” (CCFS) for Gas Turbine Engines, Secondary Power Systems and other Airborne Accessories.

The CCFS’s estimated cost is $10M. SSS expects to expand these new Depot services at Hill AFB and other DoD Depots as set forth in our strategic plan.
