The CarePoint Health Application Suite (CHAS) team has been an innovator for the Department of Defense (DoD) for well over a decade and the team keeps pushing the envelope for our Armed Service Members. They’re charged with creating Government Software for various health care related items used in the Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) around the globe. On March 28, the CHAS team was recognized by COL Rich Wilson in the Solution Delivery Division All Hands Call.
Program Manager Roberta Kidder credits her team’s success to her strong leadership team and the family-like atmosphere. “When I began employment for STS Systems Integration (SSI) in August of last year, I never expected I would be given the best team in the DoD. These are the most passionate, diligent and wickedly smart people I’ve had the pleasure of leading in 20 years.”
Leadership Team member Michael Schmidt is the nucleus of the team serving as the Lead Architect and Developer; Don Steitle manages 100+ databases around the globe ensuring stability; Brian Dibiasi has the very challenging job of gathering requirements for functional stakeholder and translating them via wireframes for the software team; Salma Martinez creates test cases and leads QA analyst testing and evaluating the software; and Doris Henderson is the face of CHAS, leading training for thousands of clinicians in the MTFs.
