2021 Descendant Enrollment Survey

Posted on | Back to Posts

IMPORTANT: if your minor(s) received a survey, you only need to complete your custodian survey and your minor(s) will still be eligible for prizes.

Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) is taking a fresh look at the topic of descendant enrollment, and, as a part of this renewed focus, we’d like to hear from shareholders to better understand your opinions on this important topic.

Is descendant enrollment something you would support? How would you like to see it structured if shareholders vote to open enrollment?

BBNC understands that there are differing opinions on the issue of descendant enrollment. Please note that no decision has been made to pursue descendant enrollment at this time. BBNC is studying the issue so that it may advise all shareholders on the potential options in the future.

In addition to questions about descendant enrollment, at the end of this survey, we are asking for information about you and your descendants. These census questions will help BBNC accurately estimate the number of descendants who may be eligible for an enrollment under different scenarios. This section is very important as these population estimates will be the basis for how an enrollment is structured if shareholders support moving forward with opening enrollment.
