BBNC invites Bristol Bay village corporations, village and city councils, and boroughs to the 2019 Bristol Bay Leadership Forum (BBLF) on December 5 and 6, 2019, in at the Egan Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska.
The event will feature speakers and workshops focused on current issues that are important to the Bristol Bay region. We welcome your suggestions for topics at the forum. BRISTOL BAY YOUTH LEADERSHIP FORUM
The 2019 Bristol Bay Youth Leadership Forum will be held Dec. 4-6, in conjunction with the Bristol Bay Leadership Forum. December 3 and 7 will be travel days. Students in grades 9-12 from Southwest Region School District, Lake and Peninsula School District, Bristol Bay Borough School District and Dillingham City School District are all eligible to apply.
The Bristol Bay Youth Leadership Forum provides opportunities for students to engage in cultural activities and presentations that focus on community initiatives, participate in dialogues regarding current issues impacting Native communities, and gain exposure to Alaska Native leaders from around the state. Participants will receive one college credit, and travel expenses will be covered for students selected to participate.
